The candle we light every evening at the studio. A frosted amber jar, a cotton wick and 200 g of soy wax carrying one of six scents, from warm sandalwood and vanilla to the white-flower sweetness of mogra.
- 100% soy wax, poured by hand and cured for two weeks so the scent settles
- Scent fills a room within the first hour of burning
- About 35 hours of burn for the classic jar, about 40 for the three-wick large (three flames use wax faster)
- When it is finished, the amber jar makes a lovely pen pot or planter
Good to know: let the first burn run until the melted wax reaches the glass, about 3 hours. It is the one habit that makes a jar candle last.

- Classic: 8 × 9 cm jar, 200 g wax. Large: 10 × 10 cm jar, 350 g wax, three wicks. Net wax 200 g (classic) or 350 g (large). Made in India
- Made of
- 100% soy wax, cotton wick, fragrance oil, frosted amber glass jar
- Care
- Trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn; first burn about 3 hours; burn up to 4 hours at a time; stop at 1 cm of wax.
Care
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn.
- First burn: let the melted pool reach the edge, about an hour for every 2.5 cm of width, so it never tunnels.
- Burn for up to 4 hours at a time, on a heat-proof surface, away from fans, curtains, children and pets.
- Never leave a burning candle alone; put it out with a snuffer or a gentle breath, never water.
- Stop when about 1 cm of wax is left in a jar.

Every piece is poured, set and finished by hand in our studio, a few at a time. The small marks of the hand are how you know yours is real.
