Decor that also lights
Sculpted candles are poured into silicone moulds of our own, from a firm soy blend that holds a crisp shape. Most people keep them out as decor for weeks before they light them, and that is fine: keep them out of direct sun and their colour stays soft.
Burning a sculpted candle
A shape is not a jar, so wax runs down the sides as it burns. Always stand a sculpted candle on a heat-proof plate or tray, keep it away from anything that can catch, and burn it for an hour or two at a time.
Questions people ask
Are they scented?
Bubble cubes and peonies come scented or unscented, your choice. Pillars and tapers are unscented, so they can sit on a dining table.
Do they drip?
Sculpted shapes do drip as they burn. Stand them on a plate or tray. Tapers drip least if they are away from fans and drafts.
Will the colour fade?
Strong sunlight fades any coloured wax over time. Keep them out of direct sun.
