Real flowers, laid by hand
We press flowers for weeks before they go anywhere near wax: rose petals, lavender, ferns and small wildflowers. Then each one is set onto the candle with a brush of warm wax, so it stays in place but sits on the surface like a painting.
Lighting a flower candle
The flowers are on the outside of a wide pillar or on the top of a jar, away from the flame. On a pillar, the flame burns down the middle and the flowered wall stays as a glowing shell. Remove any dried flowers from the top of a jar before the first burn.

Are the flowers safe near the flame?
On pillars, the flowers sit on the outer wall of a wide candle, and the flame burns down the middle. On jars, lift the dried flowers off the top before lighting.
Can you make one with my wedding flowers?
Yes. Send us flowers from your varmala or bouquet and we press them into candles, or keep them in resin. Ask on the custom order page.
