Soy wax poured into hand-painted terracotta diyas, lotus floating candles for your urli, and scented tealights by the dozen. Light up the festival.

Wax diyas give you the glow of an oil diya without the oil spills on the floor and the rangoli. Ours are poured with soy wax into terracotta diyas that are painted by hand, and once the wax is gone the diya can be filled with oil or used again.
Keep diyas and tealights at least 8 cm apart so they do not melt each other, away from curtains, dupattas and rangoli powder, and never leave a room full of them burning on its own. Floating candles go in water only: an urli or a wide bowl.
About 4 to 5 hours each, so one evening of Diwali.
Yes, with oil and a cotton wick, or with wax.
