Details

Handmade piece. Because it is made individually, colour and finish can vary slightly from the photos.

The piece

Size: Each lotus 5.5 cm across. Net wax about 20 g per lotus. Made in India
Made of: Floating-grade wax blend, cotton wicks, candle dye; unscented
Care: Float in water only, in an urli or a wide bowl; keep the bowl away from curtains; burn up to 3 hours.

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before every burn.
First burn: let the melted pool reach the edge, about an hour for every 2.5 cm of width, so it never tunnels.
Burn for up to 4 hours at a time, on a heat-proof surface, away from fans, curtains, children and pets.
Never leave a burning candle alone; put it out with a snuffer or a gentle breath, never water.
Stop when about 1 cm of wax is left in a jar.
